Celebrating the transatlantic legacy of black dancers in ballet

We’re hosting a celebration of black dancers in ballet with Royal Ballet and Dance Theatre of Harlem.

Tickets are now sold out to join us in person for this event.

But you can still join us online for this wonderful opportunity to see Brenda Garratt-Glassman, Julie Felix and Shevelle Dynott from the Black British Ballet project. There will also be an exciting new performance from four Royal Ballet and Dance Theatre of Harlem dancers.

Presented before a live audience in London and in New York City, this special program will highlight the little-known but extensive history of Black dancers in ballet in the UK and US. The event is co-hosted in New York City by Jacob's Pillow and the New York Library for the Performing Arts.

The event starts at 7pm BST (2pm EDT) on 25 April.
